I think this game sets up a lot like Clemson vs. Bama in week 1 of last year. Last year I was real high on Clemson and the ACC, learned my lesson.

    Roll Tide.

BAMA AND SABAN got embarrassed last game they played and it was a huge bowl game against Utah.Saban with a chip on his shoulder might be undefeated ATS in his career.Alabama will ROLL

Guys, Where was that big chip on Saban's shoulder after Florida spanked them in the SEC Title game last year? They went on to lose by DD as a DD favorite to Utah. I think that stuff is overrated. Saban doesn't play in the games and if the guys facing his want it more, they will get it!

Bama is also replacing a bunch of starters off last years team. Will they be up to the competition this early in the season?

Fully agree. And I think the Hokies are ready. The Darren Evans injury is being overhyped. If there's a position the Hokies could afford an injury it's RB. They have 2 blue chippers and 2 returning backs behind him. Bama lost a lot on the o line and a new QB is starting. The Hokies are a blitz heavy team. That'll be big. 5 years ago the Hokies opened at FedEx Field against eventual champ USC that had Bush and Leinart. The Hokies took USC to the wire. I know it was a while ago, but they've played in this type of opener before...

                        Wayne,
Bama was 15 min from playing in the BCS TITLE GAME. The game meant nothing to bama and everything to utah. Plus Smith and Johnson were out of that game. Both teams are going to bring it tomorrow. This game has been all they've been practicing for all summer.

We know both D's can ball. So I'll take UNDER.

I think Bama will win, I think Bama is the better team, I just think it is hard to lay 7 points in this game.

Guys I dont say a whole lot but I believe this team for Alabama is going to be some more kind of tough. I think they blow Virginia Tech OUT. It was not that long ago Virginia Tech embarrased Alabama in the Music city bowl. I would make this my game of the year but I dont have one. I may be wrong but I believe after this game you will never get no more value on Alabama till the sec championship game.
