MLB: Tigers vs White Sox

If Leyland got what he wanted savage, the Tigers would not be sitting in last place with that payroll. He can't play the games and he hasn't done anything to motivate them in the previous 161 games ....

1 thing is for sure, you like the Tigers and i like the White Sox.

I didn't say Leyland got what he wanted;I am simply saying he will be trying to win this game like any other and if anything, even more so. I didn't say he will be successful.
For the record, I am not betting the game, but if forced to play it, I would take the 1 1/2 runs.
As stated, I hope Chicago wins in a hard fought game, setting up tomorrow's showdown with Minnesota.

You know this argument reminds me of times when a team on the road gets only a few hours sleep in between games and everyone thinks it is a lock they will lose because they are tired-sometimes they do and sometimes they win.
Today it is the same thing-there is not one person out there including me who can get into the players' heads and know for sure their mindset for this game-it is all speculation and opinion and don't forget it!

both teams have to sit through it.This is not an advantage either way.Only way i can see an advANTAGE is after the game starts if it starts raining most coaches wont bring back tthe starter for health reasons.Tigers would probably go to ther bullpen and WHITESOX WOULD GO WITH ANOTHER STARTER

I think this matter is way overblown.
With the caveat that no one knows for sure what will happen today, I say Tigers will approach this game like any other;it is not like someone is asking them to go out and play for another month!
If they lie down and it appears that they don't give a shit, it doesn't say much for them or for the organization as a whole.
I am sure Leyland will stress the importance of this game to the players-the rest is up to them.
