Imagine if they had instant replay in that Padres/Rockies game. Holliday slides into to home, the umpire calls him safe, the crowd is going crazy, and the umpire gets on the mic and says the Padres manager throw the red flag, the play is under review. The umpire than goes and looks at the film, and he can't freakin she shit, no matter what he says, safe or out, the excitement of the game is ruined.

Originally posted by SparkI personally hate it .. it makes the game take forever ... every play ... Instant replay ....
Do you allow a pitcher to stand there in the Heat waiting for an umpire to review a call for 10 - 15 minutes???

Yes, all 3 of the other major 3 have it and in the end, i want them to get it right. A few extra minutes in a game doesn't bother me. Too many refs and umps with agenda's these days and bad eyes too.
Maybe just for HR calls or something. They DEFINATELY need it for that alone (imo).
