On paper it looks like such an even pitching matchup. From what we have seen lately Wacha has a sizable advantage. In his last three starts he went for an ERA of 0.96 compared to Scherzer’s 7.31 ERA. In five of his last ten starts he has allowed 4 or more runs.

It has been a profitable last couple of weeks. Since August 24th we are riding a 11-5 streak with a 68% win hit and a nice $+4.95 during this streak.
That's almost $5,000 for the $1000 bettor, $500 for the $100 guy and the $10 gambler took home a nice round 50 bucks. Not bad.

"When I see a pick where I feel there is value to be had I like playing it. -130 doesn’t look like excellent value but if you factor in who is pitching for the Rays then it looks better. Archer has been hot with a 1.71 ERA and 0.90 WHIP his last three starts. Nova has been great pitching on the road with a 2.71 ERA. He hasn’t allowed a run on the road in his last two starts. There isn’t anything I am really in love with on this card today. I’m not going to lay mortgage payments on this game or anything but I do think the Rays come out with a victory on the road."
