        Mmm

        Hey..

I am either going to run over to Vegas on Sat, or run to the doggie track. If you have the time on Sat and if I go could you take a check at the pups and make me a few GGG's?? I think they run days and evenings on Sat..also we had rain here today, not sure if that effects your PHX plays posted..

I know your plays are good for an easy payday..and even worth associating with all the other beauties over at that dim lit track..

I'd be happy to "talk shop", always looking for a chance to discuss greyhound handicapping. However, I'm not sure what is the best forum for that discussion. Being a "newbie" here, it seems that most of these posts are dealing with Basketball and Football.

Do you do anything with Bluffs Run? They've changed the programs to only .pdf files, and my program doesn't work with those?

They keep the lights low for our benifit , and I will not argue with thier reasoning !

Surely you jest ? , of course I will toss out some numbers for you ( both cards ) and the rain doesnt hurt my calls a bit as a matter of fact it will help because my system uses the break & speed a bit on the heavy-side .

I think discussing any form of gambling is acceptable here ( for posting ) , and after all the muss-mouth posts I have witnessed here perhaps a good infomative post or two wouldnt hurt a thing .

There are a few that go to the tracks here and I am sure they would like to see such ramblings also , but it is after all up to you if you would find it interesting or not ?

Bluffs (1 Dog ) Run , has always been on my radar and the rail has always done well there ( % wise ) , I go there quite often and cover it along with about 60 others daily , the files are handled by a young gent that works for me and he converts them somehow ( I will ask ) .

Lokking forward to chit-chatting with you about this because it is this ladys love ( and business ) for 38 years now . And I want to always stay on top of the game in every area possible .

                    Mmm

I was wondering about that place. I suppose the crowds arent there for the scenery are they? The track itself outside is very nice, I guess the pooches deserve the best..

Side question, speaking of Vegas do you or anyone else know if a decent Vegas sportsbook also list and run dog races? I usually go to Hilton cause the sportsbook is great..and I have seen the horses but I cant recall seeing doggies.

Thanks for the help and if Vegas did have a spot where you could bet the dogs I might do that..

Nice job on the hoops forum, that is definately an undertaking..lots of work and little appreciation. Margin for error is quite small..

Looking for a good computer program for the pups, could you suggest or do you cap a different way. Any help would be great!

                      Thanks

                          Doggie Talk

Most of the sports books in Vegas carry the dogs, however, they usually only have them at night. I've seen them at Caesars, IP, TI, Exclabur, and most of the strip. Downtown, I know the Plaza, LVC, and GN does for sure.

As for a software program to handicap the pups, it depends on what you want it to do for you, and what tracks that you play on. I'd google search on Greyhound Software, and take a look at what comes up. MMM might have more insight on that.

Good stuff, thanks a bunch..looks like I may be going to Vegas instead of staying home!

If the big places carry doggies, I have to imagine that Hilton does too.

                            :D

                              Harrahs :

at one time carried far more dogs than anyone in Vegas , and Im sure they still do . I havent been in about a year and a half but they where by far and away the the " biggie " at that time ( and before ) so check them out , and if you do then you can cherry-pick your tracks for the safest lays and not make a ton but almost assured make a profit on low output safe wagers ( but alot of them ).

SRH , you left before you saw my answers to your post the other day , I will bump them up for you .
