What Does Anyone Think About Pyro Have A Future Bet At +800 Pending

I think 8-1 will be about what you get on Saturday. What is Colonel John in the futures pools now? Barring a really bad post position, I like his chances. Although the words "Lawyer Ron" keep flashing in my head too.

I hav e to look past Pyro's last race as nothing more than a freshner for the Derby,and now hes the 3rd choice on the board makes me feel even better.my top 4 before PP selections is Pyro, Colonel John, Visonaire, Big Brown.

AND i do think your pony Visonaire gets up to hit the board!

Update:

Because of several defections, Visionaire is certain to be in the race. In addition to my future bet, I'll be playing him Saturday in the bottom spots of exactas, trifectas and superfectas. He's a closer and could very well hit the board if he doesn't win. As of right now, here's my top five in order:

1. Visionaire
2. Z Fortune (another price horse)
3. Big Brown (great horse, but being asked to do too much too soon)
4. Court Vision (big wake-up with blinkers for Mott)
5. Cool Coal Man (Zito trainee ran huge two races back)

If I lose big, it'll be because I'm tossing all of the California-based horses.
