  • Transcript of GA Obama Eligibility Hearing

There is a legal proceeding underway in GA to have Obama either prove his legal eligibility to be on November's ballot or for the GA Secretary of State to REMOVE his name frm the ballot. Wish there was another way to post this, but the transcript of the last hearing is too long to do so. This is serious stuff, though, and it looks likely that the State of Georgia might prevail.

I think if I just insert the link below, everyone will be able to see it...While it is long in pages, the type on each page is short and it is a fast read considering the number of pages involved. Let's try it anyway:

THis is a great article to read Umreb78 but remember when our leader said this

The fact that we're here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. Leadership means 'The buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better. I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America's debt limit.

        --Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill.

        Senate Floor Speech

        2006
Well he's hit 5 trillion in 3+ years and going on 6.2 trillion in less then 4 years...And what did we get out of it, an over inflated stock market that is going to hit the shit sooner then later.... but read this below and click on the link to see the graph

Remember when the US hiked its debt ceiling on Friday courtesy of a formulaic 52 affirmative votes in the Senate, giving the Treasury $1.2 trillion in dry debt powder to attempt to grow the economy one more time according to the algorithmic fantasies of voodoo priests with pieces of Ivy League parchment on their walls? Well, two days later, the dry powder is less than $1.1 trillion. In other words, in the past two days, total US debt increased by $120 billion, along the lines of our expectations, as the Treasury filled up all the G-fund cash it had pillaged to continue issuing debt throughout the month of January even though it was formally above the debt ceiling. What is more concerning, is that as the chart below shows, the trendline of US debt since the beginning of 2011 is no longer a straight line, but has slowly transformed into a parabola, the very same word used as the root in such other infamous words as, for example, parabolic.

It gets worse: even according to the drastically, and very unrealistically, downward revised borrowing expectations of the Treasury released yesterday, the US will issue $444 billion in debt in this quarter. Today's number means that in February and March alone Tim Geithner will raise another $310 billion, which will send total debt to $15.7 trillion as of March 31. What is the final debt ceiling? Just under $16.4 trillion. So the US will have $700 billion in debt issuance capacity for the 7 months leading into the presidential election (and 9 until the end of the year).

Now naturally, if the debt ceiling becomes a sticking point at the election, Obama's chances of reelection plunge. Which makes us wonder - will Republicans grasp that the paradox of defeating Obama is precisely in giving him a carte blanche on all the stimulus programs he wants? Because if Congress approves another $200, 300 or even $400 billion in stimulus pork (the only thing better than one Solyndra? One thousand Solyndras!) the Treasury will drown in the need to raise hundreds of billions more, and will in fact hit the ceiling well in advance of the elections. As for the stimulus projects themselves, they will crash and burn just like all centrally planned endeavors, and actually results in a far worse outcome than if they had never been attempted. Because ironically, now that the entire world has passed the Rubicon, and unfortunately there really is no way of fixing anything, the only thing one can hope for is letting the status quo get on with doing what it does best, and leading the 100 year process of central planning to its sad and terminal conclusion, only after which can the "fresh start" reset occur. Ironically, the same thing is true with the farce that is the debt ceiling: the best way to finally get back to a fiscally prudent regime? Why go to town, of course.

And, we almost forgot to add, as of today, total debt to GDP is once again well over 100% even with the latest Q4 GDP data, at 100.4% and rising every day.

US Adds $120 Billion In Debt Since Debt Ceiling Hike On Friday, $310 Billion More On Deck In Next Two Months | ZeroHedge

I don't know what it's going to take TO STOP THIS SHIT, it's getting offically scary what they are doing, WHEN WILL ANYONE STAND UP and stop this, my god

Lets do another cash for clunkers or bail out GM again, it's only a matter of time...and just think they haven't paid the taxpayers the entire TARP money back yet, hum weird..

GM Channel Stuffing Resumes, January Dealer Inventory Second Highest Ever | ZeroHedge

Just as we thought GM's channel stuffing days may be coming to an end, and the company may finally be normalizing its inventory management, here come January numbers, where we learn that in addition to car sales declining by 6% compared to a year ago, at 167,962 vehicles sold (of note: "Retail deliveries declined 15 percent compared with the same month a year ago and accounted for 70 percent of GM sales"), it was the all critical month end dealer inventory that caught our attention. And unfortunately as the skeptics expected, GM is back to its old tricks, as dealer inventories rose once again, this time by over 36k units, or the second highest in its post-reorg history, to a near record 619,455 vehicles stored with dealers. This is just the second highest ever in fresh start GM history, second only to November's 623,666. The January-end number represents 89 days supply, but more importantly the recent spike in restocking, which was seen with all other major car dealers, explains the ongoing "expansion" in the US economy as measured by indices such as the ISM. Eventually, when the end demand for these dealer parked vehicles does not materialize, the New Orders so diligently tracked by economists everywhere will slip back under 50, but before that we are confident that the administration will come up with some new Cash for Clunkers plan to take demand from the future and to push it into the days leading into the election, probably funded once again by other taxpayers who don't quite see the fascination with owning a GM car.

          And some other manufacturers:

Ford month-end inventory 86-day supply at end of Jan. (492k vehicles) vs 60-day supply (466k) as of Dec. 31
Chrysler had 83-day supply (349k units) end of Jan. vs 64-day (326k units) as of Dec. 31
          GM month-end inventory 89-day supply (619k units) vs 67-day supply (583k) Dec. 31

I'd love to see anybody else's thoughts about this!!!
He has zero chance of winning GA, but the end result may end up helping him more in the other states. For the most part, Americans are fair minded people. Blocking him from the ballot on a southern state that he has no chance of winning may solidify his base and possibly swing some independents to his camp. The media would turn Obama into a victim, possibly driving some undecided voters his way

If Republicans want to win decisively in November, they will stay away from tactics like this.

Robby: First, of course Barry has little if any chance to carry GA...the point is that similar suits have been filed now in nine other states (two of which are battlegrounds). Frankly, I am not pulling, per se', for a Republican win...they're damn near as corrupt as the left (at least the establishment that runs it), but Obama simply has to be defeated. Lastly, I do acknowledge the point you are making regarding the tactics, BUT....If you have followed closely the whole "natural born citizen" argument as I have since BEFORE the 2008 election, this comes down to a matter not of politics, but one of principle. IF and I stress IF, Sotero does NOT meet the Constitutional requirements to occupy the WH, this Nation needs to stand up and fight it to the bitter end...whatever that end might be. BTW, I've read all the official transcripts of all four of the hearings ongoing concerning eligibility and they are all VERY persuasive in leading to serious questioning of this president's bona fides...

I agree with you about the principle; however if Obama is defeated it won't really matter. If the Republican nominee focuses strictly on Obama's fiscal failures of the past 4 years, they will win. If they get sidetracked by issues like the one you mention, they may not win. This is exactly what the Democrats are hoping will happen; it takes away from the abysmal performance of the past 3 or 4 years. In my opinion the R's should run ad's on all the promises that were made 4 years ago, and the results of those promises. Anything else, no matter how principled one feels, plays right into Carville and Axelrod's hands. They have nothing else.

Only is this world would this happen, but remember things are ok and looking positive

Following the endless collapse in the Baltic Dry, it was only a matter of time before the shipping industry one-upped the Chairsatan, and was the first to introduce, dum dum dum, negative rates. That's right: you are now paid to hire a ship. Via Bloomberg:

GLENCORE HIRES SHIP AT MINUS $2,000 A DAY, GMI SAYS
GMI TO CONTRIBUTE $2,000 A DAY TO GLENCORE'S FUEL COSTS
GLOBAL MARITIME'S U.K. MD STEVE RODLEY CONFIRMS DEAL BY PHONE
Why is this happening? Perhaps because ships have to be kept seaworthy and in motion or else they become scrappage in as little time as 3 months. Think sharks. Needless to say, this will play havoc with shipping company (and affiliated entities') liquidity, as the biggest default wave in the history of the industry is about to be unleashed and tens if not hundreds of billions of European secured loans are about to be "impaired."

Shipping Rates Go... Negative | ZeroHedge

Ziti...are you self employed? If you are, kudos, but that sure doesn't jive with your political attitudes. If you are NOT self employed, what do you think your employer is going to do with your job when he sees his taxes increase by 20, 30, 40 percent? And the tax break you got under GWB was far far larger than the $300 rebate (was actually either $250 or $500 depending upon your filing status). The fact is that unless you are a CPA (like I am) or a tax attorney, you probably have been buying in far too much to the political, populist rhetoric the Democrats have been feeding you. To allege that all we got from the GWB tax cuts was the rebate is, at best misleading, and at worst an outright lie.

Here is the problem with the way the left has framed the whole tax debate. If my taxes need to go up...fine, I'm okay with that. The fallacy on the left's arguement is this. EVEN IF THE MARGINAL TAX RATE WERE INCREASED TO 100%, IT WOULD HAVE TO REMAIN SO FOR SOME 15 YEARS TO RETIRE THE CURRENT NATIONAL DEBT! The fiscal problem we have is a SPENDING problem...not a revenue problem. When the government quits pissing away MY money on bullshit programs that serve THEIR interests, talk to me about a tax hike. Until then, screw any tax increase. But I digress. Do you, Zitti, have any concept of $16 TRILLION???? When 47% of American household pay NO (ZERO) federal income taxes and over 31% actually get tax income due to the EIC, they should have NO voice in electing our leaders. You wanna raise taxes, fine. Impose a minimum income tax of say 10% on EVERY US FAMILY, DITCH THE EIC, and then EVERYBODY has some skin in the game. Until then, you have almost half the population whose only interest in tax and spend policies is to keep taxing you and me....so DC can give OUR money to the non-payers. You seem like a bright guy. Haven't you figured out that the reason the left wants to tax the "millionaires" (that is singles who make over $200k a year) is specifically so they can make the 47% government dependent, thereby ensuring a vote for the Demoncrats for generations.

Again, you seem pretty intelligent, but I would suggest you wake up and do some homework...You need to realize that what you see reported as fact and news on the MSM is anything but factual. If you did a little research on some of the pressing fiscal issues of the day, I think you'd fine yourself saying...Damn, that's not what I saw on the news. This source must be a right wing Conservative propaganda arm...No, Zitti, it is ABC, CBS, CNN, and the worst of the bunch MSNBC and NBC who are the prapagandists. You do know that NBC (until recently) was owned by GE...that GE paid ZERO US income taxes from 2007-2010...and that GE Chairman Jeff Immelt was the LEADER OF OBAMA'S "COUNCIL OF ECONOMIC ADVISERS". Nothing to see here, folks, move along!!! Before telling me how much better the US economy is doing with unemployment all the way down to 8.3%, you might research the "modification" made by BLS in 2011 to the methodology used to calculate the national unemployment rate. Without that change (which resulted in the "removal" of 1.6 million potential employees) the January 2012 unemployment rate would have been...wait...wait...9.6%. Just some food for thought.

One last point about why anyone making less than a mill a year would vote for anybody other than Obama. First the Obamanation has convinced you and many many others that "millionaires" are evil. In point of fact, his actions do not match his rhetoric. In every proposal he has made about eliminating the Bush tax cuts, the folks getting their nuts chopped off for being so rich are singles over $200,000 and couples over $250,000. But, I'm guessing that's not what you heard on MSNBC or wherever else you get your news.
