I came to bettorschat because I wanted to get some great tips on the baseball and the upcoming nfl season. Since ive came here in may ive noticed 4-5 guys in particular who seem like maniac rush limbaugh glenn beck supporters. One guy has atleast 400 posts berating, and nailing barack obama on every post. Now if he had 20 saying how he was unhappy he might be believable in being objective and fair, but this right winged obama hater has a clear hatred and agenda. I run in a charity in aurora which benefits poor kids with athletic equipment and educational opportunities and some of the aid Ive received directly from the federal government has helped greatly. Now I might not agree with his politics but in juding him as a fair open minded good person, good husband and person who cares for his country, there is no question in my mind.

I give my horse shit picks every now and again but to see this hatred and pure racism here in 2010 is mind boggling. Over 1000 negative posts from these 4 or 5 members...........every night non stop its nothing but prejudice you would have more honor to come out and say it I hate him because he is black, muslim, half white or whatever. Be a man not a yellow belly coward and just come out, its like coming out of the closet........My 5 cents go ahead call me a muslim, or any other name. There is a post in here where there are anti muslim comment raghead etc......... Once again cowards........If you were not cowards you go find a muslim, black, arab or whatever and say it face to face.

efaw, a couple of things.
first, the guy that you say has 400 posts berating Obama is probably true. But you seem blinded that there are others on here who have 400 posts bashing Bush. What I am saying is, don't have blinders on - it goes both ways. Politics leads to nasty discusion and some are "brainwashed" either way. I just hope you can see that - if not, you are as blinded as those you are attacking.

Second, I am not saying the "raghead" comments are not prejudice. Unfortunately, prejudice does occur still in our society. But again, don't think that ONLY one side is prejudice. I refuse to throw out names on here, but if you have read all the posts you claim to have read, you have to see this. There are whites on here that hate and also blacks on here that hate. Read thru some of the dialougue and again, if you are open minded, you can easily see this.

Third, I don't "hate" anyone. I feel life is too short to harbor that feeling. But, I think Obama sucks at the job - just like I felt that Bush, especially towards the end of his term - also sucked. This is not because Obama is black, muslim, or whatever. It is because I feel he has lied about what he promised, etc. Again, there are MANY republicans who do the same. I try and call it like I see it.
There are MANY on here who dislike Obama no matter what he would accomplish. But there are also MANY on here that conviently overlook what he has done and you can't convince EITHER side either way. That's just the nature of politics. Its sad, but true.

And finally, I am against the mosque being put where it is proposed because of the sensitive area it is in. The people don't want it there and in my opinion, if it is built there, there will be more issues than needed. I think, again in my opinion, that is asking for trouble and nothing good, even if it is religious, will come of it.
The ACLU jumps in WHENEVER there is an issue with religion, regardless of what religion, when it conflicts with the separarion of Church and State. I find it amusing that there has been NO mention when the president made his comments about this issue. Obama's ONLY comment on this issue should have been NO COMMENT. Again, this is my opinion.

I am not a racist. I have been coaching for over 30 years and have coached EVERY race, creed, and color. I have had EVERY race, creed, and color at my house and will continue to do so. I am white and I feel there are MANY white people that are trash and I want nothing to do with them. It has nothing to do with race.
Color doesn't make the person, the person makes the person. Again, only my opinion.
I hope you reread some of the "other" sides posts and trust me, you will see the same prejudice that you are accusing the " fringe right winged neocons " of being.

No disrespect to anyone I think Obama is doing a lousy job and bush did not do great. When you have a unmanageable country with debt and 8 million issues one single person can not be blamed. We as a society have to change. Again I try not to get too deep with politics cause politic issues do not get resolved where 100 percent of the peole will agree with. Normally it is 50-50 or 60-40 split. You can't please everyone...someone is going to get the short end of the stick and it isn't because of race creed or color. It is because our elected officials make these decisions and that is what the people wanted and vote for!
