As much as you hate to say it because it doesn't fit into your talking points. Most everything obama is dealing with has to do with last admin disaster. Its hard to hear for you guys and I understand that.

I would think he was referring to the tough decisions to increase the size of our deficit (even with Bush inheriting a surplus) to unsustainable levels, or escalating a war that now tops 1000 deaths (mostly in 2010..who was Prez then?), or wasting a year for a HC law that is a bait and switch when it comes to revenues/fees/taxes of 10 years for 6 years worth of services (how much will the bill be when illegals get amnesty?), to ramming a stimulus package down the throats at a 1 trillion dollar cost promising unemployment to not crack 8% (think it's down to 9.9% now), to calling the police dept's actions "stupid" b/c his black buddy was acting like an ass, to throwing his support behing political loser after loser? Forgot to add sitting with a thumb up his ass while his Interior Dept and admin watch one of the worst, if not the worst, oil disaster.

Yes, I know it was party switch, anti-incumbent, GREAT ad using Spector's own words, etc. But Obama, and the Penn Dem machine was behind Spector and lost. Like in NJ, MASS and VA. Convenient that Obama AGAIN throws someone under the bus when it is politically expedient. Spector approached Dems huh?

As far as 12th, guy will do little there until Nov when he has to defend seat. The fact that he is well decorated vet, Murtha's chief of Staff, endorsed by Mrs' Murtha, and conservative probably had a bit to do with his win.

Spector was doomed by the party switch. It was used against him very well by sestack campaign. Spector was the candidate of pa establishment and white house. However, obama never came to pa to campaign for him. They allowed spector camp to use a commercial involving obama. Not really an obama loss. Anti incumbment and party switch loss. That ad against spector was very effective
