Are we talking about the same cbo? The same cbo that was liberal when then showed true costs of the war based on lies? Why is it when the numbers are bad for a republican policy the cbo is liberal and bias but when the numbers are bad for dem polices it is the " non partisan cbo"

Virtterd....You are SOOOOO frustrating...The point of my post had nothing to do with the CBO, per se. As I;ve posted before, the CBO is NOTHING more than a calcualtor...It takes the assumptions provided by Congress, keys them in and then gives the results ASUUMING THE ASSUMPTIONS ARE PRESENTED ARE HONEST, FAIR, AND ATTAINABLE...My point is the cost (read all my previous posts)...not the CBO. Both sides, but primarly the left, ALWAYS try to engage in diversion when they can't defend their position...COST not CBO...duhh...

You started the thread by citing the cbo and u say your post isn't about cbo. It is actually the right who lives for diversion tactics. It has been their entire platform in every election for 20 years. Fear has been their biggest diversion factor last 8 years. Doesn't work anymore so they changed to terms like socialism and communism. Same basic fear method just a difft way.

The actual cost is still speculative but I assume the numbers will be pushed up by the right. They are in election mode. Its time for lies and fears about health care costs. Its what they do. Unfortunately the right always falls hook line and sinker for it

BTW, the reason for the $115 Billion increase is that when Congress asked CBO to score the bill before it passed, they conveniently left the cost of administration OUT of the CBO assumptions. It has really become laughable how you can't focus on a particular issue...Divert and Deflect....You could give lessons even to Dodd, Frankeater, and crew...LOL

So if the right claimed they were inaccurate b/c they were liberal, and underestimated the true monetary costs of wars, what is the lefts defense to the latest figures showing the higher costs? Either they were correct with the true war costs, and therefore credible, wouldn't that make them credible now? And if they were horrible then, wouldn't that make them horrible now? Odd.
