I agree with apples. I don't see what is wrong here and Obama just keeps throwing money around with nio regard for anything. I know we are helping people but that doesn't mean that we have to give and give and just keep digging into our pockets and borrowing from others. Obama just continues to spend, spend, spend, and it is all about perception. But I am not going to get into this any deeper.

And I may sound like an asshole but Haiti is a terrible, terrible place and while we should help a bit, I think we are doing moer than we need to. It's a place that does more bad than good for the world IMO.

Let's see if it is EVER mentioned about the quickness of aid, or the humanitarian efforts of the US. I guarantee you it shows up in a speech patting himself on the back one way or another.

I would like to think that if any of us were over there, no matter what color you are would be doing all we could to save lives.That little 18 month old girl that got pulled out of the rubble isn't a color but a human being.IMO Obama,Clinton or Bush ain't doing shit.It's the people over there risking there lives trying to rescue others that should get the credit.No doubt that people are still burried alive.Some will be found and some won't.Those people don't care about politics right now.

When the tsunami hit in 04 did George Bush send money and aid? That's a pretty poor part of the world isn't it? And didn't Bush pledge a lot of money to Africa when he was in office? Pretty poor there too wouldn't you say? Don't make it sound like Obama is the only President who has done this.
