All these Countries offer 1 Million or 5 Million and we give 100 Million. WTF ... Seriously, we are up to our ears in debt and ALL OF US are going to suffer from it. Why can't we give 5 Million like others? I'm so fuckin frustrated with this Country and it's path right now ... Seriously, it sickens me!
right on the money!
i am sick of sending money to other countries. that includes having military presences in most of the countries we are in now. i couple bases at strategic places around the world are good and can help if needed to deploy troops. why not put all of our military bases on our borders and make sure they are secure? this keeps all the money spent on the military HERE instead of all over the world, and secures our borders.“A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have."

230,000 died in the 2004 tsunami in 14 countries.
And I was complaining when my power was out for 3 days in December. This helps put things in perspective.

If Obama does too little, he would be berated as a failure much in the same as Bush's mishandling of Katrina. If he does too much, he's labeled a bleeding heart who gave away taxpayer's money. It's a no win situation. In my opinion, we are considered the leader of the free world. Therefore, we lead by example.
To put the money given into perspective....
How much of our tax dollars has gone to the war and how much is going to Haiti? Just as a point of reference....
$100 million to Haiti.
$1 trillion to the wars since 2001.
$1 trillion = 1,000,000,000,000.....1,000,000 x $1,000,000
$100 million = 100,000,000.....100 x $1,000,000
How much is a trillion? It's a million times one million.
As far as Rush. Where was/is his outrage to this never ending war and subsequent money that continues to be poured into it? And I don't care how it started, who started it, and who should end it.....
Check out these pics if you have a chance....
