I would assume that there are a lot of people dying from a lack of coverage, directly of indirectly. There are millions that are not covered.I cannot understand why so many that call themselves Christians do not want to help the sick and the poor. One, your assumption is correct, but not thousands a day as cited by Muscleman. Two, I don't know many Christians who don't want to help the sick and the poor, but that doesn't mean they agree this is the way to go about it through current proposed legislation either.

I'm sure you and the others have your popcorn all ready this morning for the greatest man to ever say the word "PEACE" repeatedly in a 2 week period to give his acceptance speech and I am sure there will be a tear falling from your eye as you read the speech word for word with him, because of his transparency values (campaign promise), he has sent a copy to all of his fellow backers.

Hope he thanks Robert Creamer for such a wonderful written blueprint that his policies are based on. It would be a huge slap in the face to Creamer and to all who follow his views in lock step.

Latest stats I read were 22,000 a year, which avg's 60 a day. And that number is disgusting as it is, but 60 and thousands are worlds apart.

And every written piece out there also stated that it is extremely difficult to come up with an actual number, so it is still an estimate. But thousands?

i read the same thing, but any death is not good. plus, the big factor is people that have insurance, but are not covered enough. I read that somewhere in the range of 50% of all personal bankrupcies are related to health cost. people need an option. it will make us a better country in the long run. just my opinion. peace and luv,
