I gotta side with the book in this situation. When creating props how's the book supposed to know if a player will play? Common sense would tell me it'll be scored a No Play and IMO should be scored as such. If your bet was on the player that didn't play I'm certain you'd feel differently.

It's similar to playing totals in baseball when the game only goes 5 innings.
