Wayne, I try to avoid the south side as much as possible ... like I said earlier it is horrible ... shootings and murders every week ... 1 thing I would never have a problem with the government doing is taking away all of the ammo being sold at stores. Have state depots setup where legal gun owners can come in and show they are licensed; their weapons are registered. Go through a quick background check just like when you want to buy a gun. Everything clears, you get the ammo.

I never knew of the North Side/South side difference. Drive by shootings scare the shit out of me more than anything because they always seem so random. I would be scared to leave my house and mow the lawn or something. I have honest to god, never heard of a drive by shooting in Maine. Not saying it hasn't happened but i have never heard of one. You can watch the news and read the papers for a week straight and not hear of a murder. It is so weird how different parts of the Country are so different. I get nervous at times in Boston because it is so much different than my own State. I have been sheltered up here my whole life and as boring as it can be in Maine, i'm not sure i could live in NY City, or Detroit, or Cleveland, or the South Side of Chicago or any other place where murders are a part of daily living around me. Just scary imo.

It's just like Chicago here in Atlanta.Over 150+ counties here in Georgia and "One" county is bragging that homicides dropped from 110 to 63 so far this year.Thats still 5 people a month dying in just one county I will tell you that here in Ga it's not white or black anymore,the Latin counties have more crime then any of us now.Gangs are taking over those counties like you wouldn't believe.Thats the parts I stay away from.

I dont condone at all your Muslim friend being picked on, no room for that. I think a lot of Americans like myself are frustrated when we see the Muslim community remaining quiet or not condemning the actions of these Islamic radicals. They have a responsibility to speak up.
