Top of my head I would say Franklin D. without a doubt has to be in the top 3 if not the best

I hope you give us an answer Joe. I'm curious to see what you think.

Doc, I hear #35 from a lot of people. I've even heard Republicans say he was one of the best but i couldn't say cuz it was before my time.

Is it safe to assume Dems will pick 3 Dems and Repubs will pick 3 Repubs?

                        Clinton

They must have thought the question asked was "Who was the best Adulterer of all Presidents"?

                          Reagan

Wayne, I would like you to make it fair and place Washington, Jackson, Adams & Lincoln on there for Spark. The elderly are people too

I disagree that these two are about as opposite as it gets...personally maybe, but not politically. Clinton was a lot more conservative politically than most people perceive. He was a fiscal conservative and indeed the economic outcomes of his presidency were very positive. As a matter of fact, he didn't live up to a lot of his liberal campaign rhetoric...rather worked pretty systematically to build up the federal surplus. By most economic indicators, the Country was in good shape after his 8 years largely because of his fiscal conservatism.
