Forum Poll: Would you like to have the Politics/Rant Forum Back?

Alright now that I've read a bit more of this thread I want to expand on my yes vote.

Monte...As people said one of the main reasons that the forum got as out of hand as it did was because this last election was a HUGE emotionally charged season. Everyone had visceral reactions to their opponents. 95% of those threads sooner or later would devolve into childish name calling. However without the valve it has spilled over into your other forums. By allowing the outlet everything was contained into that forum and most of us were able to change from political forum hat back to sports hats simply by moving forums. And as your 2 awesome mods have pointed out. By not having it you are shutting off a portion of people who want to discuss these things with other people who have similar interests.

Sometimes the best thing to do is to allow things to burn as long as things are contained in a box people can come out better after a little fighting.
