Monte, I don't post much in the rant forum, but I do enjoy reading it. I think you made the right decision and has long as the majority of posters abide by the rules - which most will - I think it will liven things up here. I think you are making the right decision for two reasons - one, even though the votes might have said no, I feel by reading the posts in here, more of the "regulars" want it and this might get others involved.

And second, you have Wayne (70K posts) and Spark (50K posts) are greats mods and by doing this, I feel you showed the trust in them to moderate you site the right way. I feel that they deserve and have earned this trust, and by doing this, it shows the trust that they deserve.
I hope it works out for everyone.
