The point is that whether it be my soon to be 14 year old daughter or my new son-to-be, I and my wife and ex-wife will make it a point to instill good values in our children and at the very least educate them to fully understand sex and safe sex and the ramifications if they don't( an unwanted pregnancy).
If my daughter becomes pregnant as a teenager or my son should get a girl pregnant in spite of our teachings, I would assume at least half of the blame for not getting the message across.
The fact that Palin's daughter became pregnant while not a direct reflection as to how she would govern if given the chance, shows that Sarah for whatever reason didn't get the message across to her daughter;in her case, this takes on added importance because afterall she is the one who preaches abstinence, morality or at the very least safe sex.
When I consider this along with what I perceive as her lack of qualifications and experience, for me at least it casts even more doubts as to fer overall competency to enter high political office;when I consider the fact at she has a big family and a young Down Syndrome baby to care for, it makes me wonder why she was even a possibility to be chosen;this shows poor and hasty judgment on McCain's part(one meeting with Palin) and just one more reason NOT vote for this ticket.

This should be the phrase for the republican party.

Do as we say, not as we do.

How about screw(or don't screw without protection) as we say, not as we screw (in this case Sara Palin's daughter without protection).

Maybe Obamas Mother and Father should have been more careful - if you go down this road you will lose.

The humor is your persistance on controling overpopulation.

Its your kind of thinking that scares the average American which is why your party will lose. Keep attacking a 17 yr old girl, smart.

Its too bad that you have your blinkers on 100% of the time and refuse to acknowledge that at the very least ,that some day there might be too many folks on this planet if we don't begin to make preparations for it.
Ps I am not attacking anyone-just pointing out the facts about Palin's inability to have had her daughter practice what mom preached-I blame both equally.

That's because she can AFFORD to! Don't think for one second slappy that Mrs. Palin's daughter is going to work at the taco bell and her soon to be husband with a shotgun at his back is going to work at the jiffy lube to support their child.

She will have all the resorces to raise a fine child. Unlike the the intercity mom with no husband who is working at the taco bell with one or two children already. I'm pretty fucking liberal and I don't like abortion either, but what I hate more is some asshole/party trying to tell people how to live their life. It's called FREEDOM!!!! Mind your own GOD damn business.

Let me add this as well. Did anyone hear Fred Thompson last night? Seeing we are talking about FAMILY VALUES. Fread Thompson was telling a story on John McCain when he was in Pensacola training to be a pilot that he was dating a stripper. There is some more FAMILY VALUES for you!

The Democrats that were elected almost 2 yrs ago had a platform based on ending the war in Iraq. The Democratic congress has approved more spending and more troops and has done nothing to help resolve what has been atrocioulsy handled by the White House. This has all happened in the Democratic congress! I guess that is their way of ending the war.

In the 2 yrs they have been in control, what have they done to help end the war, help healthcare and elleviate gas prices...BINGO...NOTHING!!!!

Goes back to my other post that all politicians beg, borrow, cheat and steal to get elected and then neglect what they promised. Repubs, Democrats, all of them...keep slammin' the Republican party because unless you live under a rock, the Democrats have just have much blood on their hands.

Do what you want with this;if it is true, it will be in accordance with what we have seen for the last eight years.

                          To change the subject:
In my opinion the introductory and opening speeches each night for both sides are a colossal bore and nothing more than cheerleading;I would almost rather (but not quite)listen to Phil Ste ele go on and on for 20 minutes than listening to these stale cliche ridden speeches given by these relative nobodies which say nothing of substance and nothing which I haven't heard a zillion times in the past.
Get on with the main event!

Will she be able to deal with Iraq, Iran, North Korea and Russia?

You guys are so dead wrong. We don't live in a dictatorship. A president doesn't have the power to do as they please. The experience factor is 100% BS. If McCain did die 1 week into office you don't think the cabinet would have enough 'experienced' members to aid any VP regardless of their experience?

You're posting links from the Nation Enquirer with the caveat "if it is true"?

                              I've seen it all!

So you don't believe your 14 year old daughter will have sex as a teen? You believe your 14 year old daughter will wait until she's married to have sex?

If she does both that makes you a failure to some degree?
