GG, yes, I was the one that moved your thread ... I move threads many times throughout the day .. and let me be perfectly honest in the reason why I moved it to the rant section ... if you look in that forum it is all friggen politics .. so I wanted to bring something else into it ..that is why I wanted that forum ... is to rant about SPORTS ... so Frank, you can say that the thread was sports related ... and it was ... but Dino was ranting that Harden is better than CC ... simple as that ...

I also moved jimmy's thread regarding the Phillies ... it kept getting bumped up and other posters threads were sinking ... and like Dino's thread I wanted to get some conversation in the Rant forum besides politics ...


Hope this explains why I moved these threads ... is it really that much of a big deal?? you know as long as I have been mod here I have tried to run the forum as if it was everyone's ... I always try to think if what I do or say is going to disturb a member ... Kapt opened an awesome thread about 2 months ago addressed to me .. I moved it to the non-gambling forum .. I did it mainly because it was addressed to me ... I did not want anyone to say that I move threads except when they are addressed to me .. I know that bothered Karl because he told me so in an e-mail ... I felt horrible .. I really did ..

Guys this is not my site ... not Wayne's site nor for that matter Monte's ... without you guys there would be NO site ... but I will say AGAIN, Wayne does more around here than anyone .. He clocks in more hours than anyone .. his dedication to you and this site is unreal ...

You are right frank. It is all over the place. Usually, and i say that loosely ... Usually threads that get bumped for days after i heated debate or discussion breaks out, we try to move it. We try to keep it as mostly picks and sports related stories/news articles. Alot of conversations are there, but many that get long and debated, get moved. Mainly to leave more room for all the posters. Those threads fade daily. It may have been moved simply based on the heading? It said FUK and seemed like a rant from the get go ... maybe?? I don't know, i also don't know why someone would get so bent about it either though.

This is correct ... and with foots coming I want to keep the main page as clean as possible to make it easy for others to find the plays of our posters ...

Should it be a big deal? To the mods it SHOULD.

IMO here's why. It get boring around here. Members mostly looking to pad post count with "GL". Good threads with a great debatable topic are rare. The GB/Favre thread is a perfect example. It was a great thread. There was lots of interest. Lots of participation by lots of members. If you moved that thread early it would have never received all its attention.

The ALL SPORTS DISCUSSION forum get 95% of the viewing and posting. Why bury a good thread in another forum? Leave it in all sports for a few days. Then move it. Put the cat fighting thread, like this thread, in the Rant Forum.

I usally do wait a few days unless it is a big sport day ...

and what does it matter what forum it is in?? .. if the thread is getting action it should get action in any forum ...

Catfight? I posted a thread about a great catch frank and i never fought with anyone. I spent hours giving relaxed reasons and answers with every post. I even put smiles in but some people are never fucken happy and that is obvious.
