Paid for my wife? Hopefully you were as lucky as I am. Thank God I was lucky enough to find this loving and deeply religious lady, one who realizes what the real values in life are.
Apparently, you are another one who wants to keeps his blinkers on and pretend there are not huge problems in the world like overpopulation, energy,etc and/or that what you do is no one else's business.
We as a society owe it to ourselves and the world to solve some of these problems, and this is done by each one of us doing his or her own small part.

Until/if you or anyone else undertakes such a SUCCESSFUL venture as I did, one which took an entire summer, you have no basis for your flippant and ignorant remark.
