Whether it is true or not, this is a perception and like it or not our leaders are elected on the public's perception.

This is why Obama will not win the election - he has too many strikes against him:

A -- he is black and there is enough prejudice left in our society that will hurt him to many different degrees.

B -- he has a foreign name (see "A")

C -- the Republican Party will defame Obama easier and on more sensitive issues (mostly via the internet) than the Democrats will be able to do to McCain.

D -- a percentage of the Hillary supporters will vote against Obama and while almost every single registered Republican will vote for McCain

Thus McCain will win.
