I'm at the point of saying fuck both partys!

If we the people do not get off our asses and create some real change...this country is in a world of shit!....IMO.

But, at least with Dems "looking out for us" we can sleep better at night knowing the polar bears, Alaskan Caribou, and gopher tortoises will be safe and happy...even after America as we knew it is gone.
Have you ever noticed that Right-wing loons always respond that Libs are the reason things are the way they are? I mean, THEIR PARTY has had THEIR President, and a Repub controlled Congress for over Six years. And they would like you to think that in a little over a year that the Dem led Congress has caused all that has gone wrong in this Country. Even righties on this site have even said that this Congress has done nothing since being elected in 06. So, if Congress hasen't done nothing, how can they get the blame? Things would be as they always have been if they haven't done nothing right? Which is it with you guys? Stand up and take some fucking responsibility for the actions of YOUR party for a change, instead of always blaming someone else for what YOUR party has done!

I don't know if you heard it or not, but deaths in Afghanistan have over taken deaths in Iraq lately. Afghanistan: The Springboard to Iraq, or The New Forgotten War. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/new...cle4254878.ece

You have a better chance of getting your throat cut by one of your fellow citizens than by a terrorists, isn't that a great feeling? That's how they kill people over there. It's really no different then putting a needle in someone and lettin the juice flow. Dead is dead.

I am not voting for a guy with a muslim name and liberal policies. All the countries that hate America are pulling for an Obama win, wonder why?
Dude, who has been appointing the Judges?

Seven of the current justices of the court were appointed by Republican presidents, while two were appointed by a Democratic president. It is popularly accepted that Chief Justice Roberts and Justices Scalia, Thomas, and Alito compose the Court's conservative wing. Justices Stevens, Souter, Ginsburg and Breyer are generally thought of as the Court's liberal wing. Justice Kennedy, generally thought of as a conservative leaning moderate, is considered most likely to be the swing vote that determines the outcome of certain close cases.

                They ARE doing their job!

To be honest, I would consider voting for McCain if it were not for him wanting to stay in the war. I like that he might be more responsible fiscal wise but his stand on the war kills it for me. Obama goes more to the center everyday saying just what needs to be said. In other words; Which way is the wind blowing. That's why I'll vote Nader. No war and fiscal responsibility and accountability. FOR A CHANGE!

I agree with you on the fiscal aspect. Both parties are so afraid of defeat that they will never cut spending. Money is politics, wont ever change.

You are sounding like a Libertarian or Independant, not Democrat. I actually like most of the Libertarian views except for legalizing dope. Some will say sell i and tax it, what would the tax go for - treament for the millions of new addicts?? Also, a black market would continue for the hard stuff anyway, no savings in the war on drugs.

I go for what I feel is right for EVERYONE. I don't mind social programs but at the sametime I don't want someone using it as a front to do something else with the money, and a lot of that goes on.

As far as the drug thing goes, I don't think anyone want's Coke or Heroin legalized, it's mostly Marijuana that they want to be made legal. I don't see anything wrong with that but I think you hit it right on with the tax part of it. If it's legal most people would grow it themselfs, why buy from the Goverment.

Instead of a war on drugs there needs to be a war on wasted spending. You are never going to stop drugs, you are not going to stop sex, or gambling for that matter. It's time to be sinceable about a lot of things. The freedoms we have is what the Goverment can tax from us. If they can't tax it, it's illegal. Drugs, sex, gambling and so on. And a top problem with drugs now a days is doctors writing LEGAL ************ drug medication and people turning around and selling them.
