It cost me $70 today to fill my gas tank. God damn that pisses me off so much, it isn't even funny anymore. I don't care at this point if it is Bush's fault or not, something needs to change. I'm so disgusted with the direction this country has gone in the last 2-4 years that it really sickens me. I consider myself a Independant voter and it isn't or hasn't ever been a Democrat vs Republican thing for me but at this point, the other party needs to have a chance at turning things around, because the current one in there isn't getting it done (IMO) ... and all the approval ratings from the people in this country seem to show it.

There are people in this country who are very much still racists and against blacks 100% and i wouldn't put it past one of those racist lunatics to try and end his term "Quickly". I also hope that this does not become an issue. If the man wins in a free and open election then I will accept that I will be very hard pressed to like my President. But unlike many people have done with Bush. I will still offer the same respect for the office he holds and hope he conducts himself in a manner that befits the office.
