Then they tell you every Winter we are looking at record cold weather so look for record gas prices and heating oil to go up. Then every Summer when they know most Americans are out and about they always find a way to raise the price as well, you hear it every year. You are right, there are other factors that go into it. Like lame ass people coming up with lame ass excusses to raise the price on gas.

they is the same group of ceo's that helped get the guy you keep defending elected who in turn keeps handing out huge tax breaks and subsidies while their raking in trillions.

its also the same group of guys who said that if europe can pay 6 dollars for a gallon of gas so can the united states.

but im sure in your mind its all legitimate and just the law of supply and demand because these oil execs are really fair and honest men..........right?

typical right-winged republican comeback. You nose is shoved so far up bush's butt you cant see straight.

p.s you never did hold him accountable for his failure in 9-11.
Like I said in earlier posts if some 'LIBERAL' democrat wouldve been in office you and your buddy(dont need to say names) would still be crying bloody murder. Your get tough REPUBLICAN president still hasnt brought the ones responsible to justice, has us bogged down in iraq for the next 20 years which had nothing to do with 9-11.

go back 7 years hillary clinton is office during 9-11 and you and other conservative wings would be marching all over the united states but since it was one of your guys who loves to give the rich tax shelters fuck over the middle class and give his buddies middle eastern defense contracts its ok for you.

UNTIL YOU ANSWER WHAT YOUR RESPONSE WOULDVE BEEN IF HILLARY WAS IN OFFICE YOU HAVE NO CREDIBILITY WITH ME.

The solution is simple....We need to build and design cars that run electric or battery. Trust me, they have this capability now, however the oil and gas lobby gets these type of inventions put on the back burner as well as car manufacturers.

We WILL be driving electric/battery vehicles someday. So the sooner we have them, the better. The hybrid isn't good enough. We need ALL electric/battery operated vehicles. That would put every oil maker out of business. But the leaders in Congress' biggest contributors are oil and gas companies. They had the inventions years ago to design cars to get over 60 MPG. But those inventions were bought out....Our leaders can change this. But will they?

And remember it's a Democratic controlled Congress. Just goes to show everyone they are all corrupt on both sides.

I have always wondered wht it is that Honda and Toyota engines can get better gas mileage, but somehow American cars can't be retrofitted with different engines to get better mileage? A drop in the bucket help, but help none the less.
Can Barack tell me what a "typical" white person is please?

Like it or not the law of supply and demand is the foundation of capitalism and has given rise to the largest economy in the world. I can't begrudge someone or some company from making money. Am I supposed to be pissed off at athletes making millions and that my season ticket prices keep rising? Back to gas, there have been no fewer than 20 bipartisan congressional inquiries into price gouging and unfair pricing of gasoline in the past 20 years. Not one inquiry turned up a shred of evidence of any illegal practices. I'd think one party or the other would love to sit up on Capitol Hill and say how they are sticking up for the little guy and have uncovered a price gouging scheme by big oil. They can't because none exists. Blame capitalism, economics or even Adam Smith and Milton Friedman if you'd like MM but blaming big oil is the easy way out.
