Gook, my personal opinion is that while you are a vet of the site, a lot of these other guys are going to see this guy claiming to win 80% of his games and we all know no one does that. Someone was going to get hurt by his bravado. You are smart enough to take a wait and see approach...a lot of others aren't that smart.

I really didn't want to start a new thread for this, so I will just try it here (sorry for wasting others time).

As Cubs' fans, what do you think of this whole Brian Roberts thing. Granted, giving up Cedeno doesn't bother me, but why is everyone making a big deal about a 30yr old 2nd baseman, who had his best years the past 3 years during the HGH era?? I don't get it (again).

The only positive argument I heard, was it would force Lou to bat Roberts 1st, Fukadome 2nd, Lee 3rd, Soriano 4th, and Ramirez 5th....which I DO like the sounds of. But other than that.....

Please tell me this isn't our BIG move. Please tell me we haven't hung our hopes footlockers and phone calls!
