I could give 2 shits about taxes Bryan. I'm going to pay them no matter who is in the White House and that will include for several things i have no clue about. That doesn't change the fact that it is a problem.

I'll be honest too Bryan in saying that i didn't read one sentence of the story you posted. It was way too long. I read the replies just to get a feel for what it's about. I have no clue who or what is being taxed by anyone. I just think people denying there is a problem is simply fighting a "Party" fight and not agreeing about an obvious issue at hand.Comment

Of course i'm not for higher taxes. In the end, i'm paying a shitload either way. Republicans have not made me rich while they served and neither have Democrats. if we are all honest, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. just like law enforcement backing the patriot act will exaggerate threats, scientists on the side of global warming will exaggerate the facts. does anyone not believe MONEY is driving this? do people watch the weather channel when it is clear outside? no, they watch when there is a storm coming. do they exaggerate the storm threat? yes, because they make money when people watch.
two things i learned a long time ago:
1) in any dispute, the truth is somewhere in the middle.
