There's plenty of concrete evidence supporting global warming. There's very little argument amongst the scientific community anymore on whether the problem exists and is the result of human actions. You'd be hard-pressed to find a well-respected scientist in almost any field that doesn't acknowledge those facts. All the arguments are on the political side. Providing the example of one year that bucks the trend is just as useful as saying that cold day in the middle of January is proof that global warming doesn't exist.

100's of years? i doubt we will be using much fossil fuels in 50 years the way technology is going.

Sure I believe that scaring people is how you get all the money. Just ask Bush and Cheney how they scared the American people into believing that there were WMD and OUR safety was at risk so they could get all the money for this war and Cheney could reap financial benefits as well.

I hate debating politics but I think it is pretty funny how people make it sound like Bush & Cheney were the only one's that thought WMD's existed in Iraq. Do we need to pull out the thousand or so quotes from the Clinton admin that claimed the same thing?

I honestly believe that we would have been in the same mess if a democrat was Prez because our intelligence was telling us they had them.

He underestimated what it would take to take control of Iraq and had no exit strategy. He has handled this about as poorly as one could handle it and it has cost us thousands of lives and billions of doallrs. No excuses at all for him in my book.

Please say Bush administration when making statements like this, it makes me sick to think that anyone believes that Bush is smart enough to tie his own shoes. Do you really believe any politician would've followed Bush to do anything? They followed the administration, and they were wrong.
