Jack how old are you?? I mean are you a young guy? When David Thompson came out of North Carolina State to the NBA he could jump and touch the TOP of the glass (leave a coin there) I have NEVER seen anyone with the jumps that guy had. When you lead the 74 Wolfpack to the title beating UCLA in the semis, the ONLY player to be an All Star in both the ABA and NBA. Scored 73 points against Detroit. Had the Skywalker been disciplined enough to stay away from the nose candy, God only knows what he could have done. That is why I wondered how old you are, because I watched him at Denver in the old ABA against Doc. He was something very special.

Tony, you and I are on the same page brother. The word GREAT gets thrown around waaaaay too much. You also made my point about the media. First part of the series they are losing and he is making all the wrong decisions. Then he has ONE big game and its one of the greatest playoff performances ever......I keep telling you guys, media controls so much, unless you stick to what you believe and see for yourself. You can get sucked into to this GREATNESS stuff. Good points Tony!

• Jumping ability makes him great? Hatrold Miner could jump too,not necessarily like Thompson

• 73 points in a regular season game is very impressive. But what LeBron did the other night isn't? I thought one game does not make you great?

• You have put him in the same breath as Bird, Magic, Mj and others. It is your opinion but imo that is more crazy than calling LeBron 'great'

I asked ther question because while he was a great player, imo he doesn't hold a candle to the others you mentioned.

When you say you know all about him, you actually were in the same building and watched him play, you ever watched him play? Did you ever see MJ in person or Magic, I am just asking because seeing Thompson in person and seeing him on TV are two totally different things. And if you compare the way DT jumped to the way Miner jumped you are nuts.....I don't understand that at all.

Did you also notice I pointed out that he was the ONLY player to be an Allstar in both leagues. I don't know how familiar you are with the ABA. At best you were about 6 when it was in its final years, so I am guessing you NEVER seen Thompson in his prime at an ABA game. Also, anyone who ever seen it knows the ABA was a much more athletic league then the NBA in those days.

Has Lebron ever scored 70 points in ANY game (professional of course)? Hell you were pumped at 48 points you should be pumped a little bit at 73 points. And to almost single handly take down the 74 Bruins........dude trust me that was special!

Dude it was GREAT!! I don't know how to tell you this.......BUT I AM THE MEDIA!! I was sent here by David Stern to play Devils advocate and drum up some interest in the NBA Finals. I really love Lebron, I just like to argue. I am actually a lobbyist.

I really am a nice guy........I just come across as an asshole because if I believe in something I am pretty opinionated. Besides watching people get all worked up over something as stupid as calling Lebron a punk is soooo crazy. Who cares, you like him, I think he is overated. Doesn't mean either one is wrong, just means we differ in opinion. The funny thing is how people can't get enough, they just keep coming back.......I love it!! I am a huge Dwade fan, and I don't really like Lebron. But that doesn't mean he is not good. I also love Arod and can't stand Manny, or Bonds but that don't make them any better or worst. Hey, I was bored in my office today, Jack wanted to spar.........so why not? No hard feelings? And man this makes the Finals fun huh??

I agreee with if it goes back to Detroit it is DONE.......I think Billups and "crazy" Sheed will make sure it goes back. I am still just baffled how such a ONE man show, could beat a "championship" caliber Detroit team...........I think tonight will show if the Savior has arrived in Cleveland.
