Democrat wants to repeal republican internet gambling ban

i saw a special on it tonight and they say it has about as much chance to pass a 6 ft kidney stone....I however agree with it. I think gambling is going to happen anyways and the gov't wants their piece of the pie....The only way is to allow it and regulate it....Have no idea why it is a dem vs rep issue....I wonder if this will be voted along party lines?

All kinds of trouble??? I don't know of any trouble that he is in. I know there is a bunch of muckacking involving him and his HCA stock, but that's just a witchunt. No member of his family was on the HCA board when they were investigated for fraud, and he never even had a "formal" relationship with them. BUt people can lobby untrue things at him just like Delay. Who, although he has never been convicted of anything in his entire life, is called a "criminal" by most left-wing loons.

No idea why its a Dem vs. Rep lines? You have to be fucking kidding me. Whose the 2 republicans that have been trying for years to get this bill passed. Whose the piece of shit R- that attached it to a Port Security bill regarding terroism.

Democrats kept it from getting passed for years.
Democrats are the ones who stepped to the plate and called BS about it being attached to the Port Security bill when that bill was being voted on.
Democrats are the ones that are bringing up a repeal. Who will be the ones to defeat it? Republicans.

In the meantime lets ignore the WTO rulings even though the WTO is set up so Countries can settle disputes and are suposed to abide by them. The good old USA now wants the WTO to rule on China copyright infringements...LMFAO

By the way Frist is the one who got $50k donated by Harris Casino right before attaching the bill to the port security bill. Which was also when the casino was in buyout talks and the passing of the bill jacked the price of the stock company value up by $1 billion!
