There were 7 candidates but none panned out .

Only 1 is close ... UAB + over UTEP ... BUT ... it is not a true Special ... it's like Purdue a few weeks ago , failing to cover at Wisconsin by a late turnover ... besides ,UTEP has a very good system going for them as well .
