What does Texas have to do with anything? I believe Texas hasnt beaten OU in like 12 years. Mack Brown has never beaten OU. That arguement doesnt hold up. OU has owned texas long before White was under center. My point and I'm sticking to it is that he is a ZERO in pressure situations!!!!! Do you hear me A ZERO Jason White is in big GAMES. You can have all your wins vs. Texas you want and being ranked #6 in the nation when the Big XII is easily the most overrated conference in the nation. But thats a different arguement all together. Simply put White couldnt cut it in the BIG BOY league(NFL) and thats a FACT JACK!!!!!!

Actually, Mack Brown beat OU the first two years he was at Texas, I believe. And as far as OU's dominance of Texas pre-White, that rivalry goes in cycles. I think the overall series is "about even". Doesn't have a lot to do with the issues being discussed. Just clarifying a couple of facts. And, in fact, those games with Texas are huge games if you live on either side of the Red River.

10dimebry- no problem. The whole kmart and bagging grocery thing hit a nerve. Garth-stoop's first year 1999 ou had a 17-0 lead, but had no depth and lost. That is the only time mack has beaten ou. Since then, the cumulative score has been 188-44. Included in those game are the only time texas has been shut out in 30 years, the worst loss in series history (65-13) and another defeat of 63-14. If stoops never came to ou, I would venture to say mack brown would be a god-like figure in texas. As it stands now, he has still never won as much as a conference championship. I hope it stays that way for a while. But, that being said the streak will end sometime.

I don't even like the braves...it's just a cover. Anyways, the braves never lost to USC 55-19 in the World Series, but someone kneeless grocery bagger did!

Yeah, I gave up my OU season tickets some time during the John Blake era. And now they're gone forever.
