I haven't updated in a while-sorry for those of you who can't sleep worrying over what has been occurring. lol
I just received my second approval notice stating that the Visa petition is being sent to Bogota for processing;this is great news,as it means everything is on schedule.
I will be leaving on Nov. 8 for a week to visit my lady;hopefully I can sneak into an internet cafe and bet a game or two(Northcoa st's of course lol) and make a quick post or two about the happenings there.

Jcoor-Thanks for response, and it appears you made a great choice also!
As I think I may have said at one time, there is a lady from Peru with whom I worked for many years until I retired.
When I was debating about whether to seek a lady from Peru or Colombia, SHE(of all people)advised me to go to Colombia, as she felt that in general the ladies there would be more in sync with me(I worked with this lady for 22 or 23 years and she knows me quite well and knows the temperament of both Colombian and Peruvian ladies).
Rosa Maria(my fiancee) in addition to nice looks, has all the wonderful loving and caring qualities anyone could ever ask for, and of course from my perspective, the fact that she is young doesn't hurt either. lol
I am very excited about sharing my life with this wonderful lady.
Thankfully, I do speak some spanish, having studied it many years ago for 5 years and as I may have said, I have been studying and reviewing it with a spanish grammar book I purchased.
I know it will be difficult for a while as even though she just started studying English, currently her knowledge of it is next to nil.
She is however very intelligent, has a couple of college degrees, and I am confident in time she will learn it well.

Time is winding down-Tuesday early morning departure from Hartford and will arrive in Cartagena on Tuesday evening for a week of seeing my lady and FUN-sports, gambling and my daily take on the scamdicappers will have to take a back seat for a week or so.

I'm back, happy but still a little tired. I was amazed at all of the different check/security points I had to endure in Miami.
I had a great time, and without boring all of you with the details, suffice it to say that if any of you are sick of the American dating scene and want to find an ATTRACTIVE, REAL, WARM, UNPRENTENTIOUS, LOVING, CARING and totally DEVOTED woman, go to Colombia;it is a lot surer bet hat you will succeed in this venture than in someone's 5* GOY.

In all honesty, in terms of the paperwork she needs to complete to satisfy the folks in Colombia, the holiday season, which slow things down, etc., I would say that early to mid. Jan. seems about right for her arrival.
