He has won at Atlanta, always runs well there, finished 2nd to Cheatin Ass Carl(he made me money though) in Vegas(same track but a little faster) and tested good there. The only thing about jr is at Atlanta he runs right up against the wall in the high line. One slip up and he is done, but I think 88 gets her done this week. It's a good week to get some good odds for a longshot like:
Kurt Busch 20-1
Kevin Harvick 30-1
Kasey Kahne 18-1
not really a longshot but Biffle at 12-1 is good here at ATL.
if you have first pick how can you not pick the 48
I like Jimmy J and damn sure like Chad Knaus but when you have won at Las Vegas(same track as Atlanta)3 years in a row and go back in a new car and finish 2 laps down with no wrecks,no flat tires or no problems on pit road just flat out getting lapped makes him tough to pick now.I know they will get it fixed but even Chad said they were probably 5 months behind on the COT just because they were running for a championship and didn't get to test and work on the COT.
2007 Championship run late in the chase:
48,24,07,17,5(Kyle Busch),20,2,31
2008 so far:
99,18,12,9,29,16,31.I don't think it's coincidence that these guys are running good due to not having a chance at the championship last year and got a head start on the COT.Hell,Jr was testing the 5 car in the Atlanta test after the October race.
