I'm still smartin from last night. I started out really well, 2-0 on some teasers then it all fell apart with an 0-3 night. I had my doubts on the Sunday nighter and should've laid off. Oh well. Live and learn...How you doin Dimer?

not to bad. i did bad yesterday but got bailed out on SNF with the colts. so all in all i'm down juice for the weekend. no big deal. tenn game killed me yesterday

Yea Tenn was a frustrating one. Guess Norv figured out its probably a good idea to give LT the ball over and over...Too bad its such a crappy Monday Nighter tonight. I can't get a feel for this one...

I was awakened first this morning about 4:30 with thunder claps. Then I had just gotten back to sleep and was awakened by falling tree branches. We have a river birch tree in our front yard that was about 30 or 40 ft. tall. It's about 15 ft. tall now. Most of the branches are broken off lying in my front yard and on top of my house. I guess I'm lucky though. I still have electricity. My place of business is closed today so I'm working from home.

That Sucks, any damage to your roof??

Invest in a kerosene heater, just in case the power goes out

I don't know yet if the roof is damaged any. It looks like it's intact but there may be damage to shingles...not sure. I have a wood-burning stove in my den so I'll be able to have heat. That is, if none of the maple tree in the back yard crashes into my den..

There are 10s of thousands of homes without power around here.

Wood burning, your good. If i lived in cold country i would have to have something to heat my crib if the power failed.

If the tree took off a few shingles or the rain gutter , you would be in luck . Then your home owners ins. will pay for tree removal .... otherwise it will be on your dime .

This prolly 'splains why we haven't heard from KB today !

Yeah, I should probably tear off a piece of rain gutter then call the insurance company.

KB may be without power. I talked to one of my sons who lives on the northwest side of OKC a little bit ago. He said he'd heard 200,000 homes in the City without power. That's about half of the city.

Morning all. Finally made it into work a few hours late

No internet at home. still have electricity though. Took me about an hour and a half of scraping ice off my car for me to finally get in and start it up
