Weekends like this make baseball what it is...One of my fondest memories happened back in 2002. I was living in Seattle at the time and the Angels FINALLY made it to the World Series. So I jump on Ebay and secure tickets for Game 6 (in Anaheim). This was a risk, because there was no guarantee that the Series would last that long. Anyway, called up Dad, who lived in SoCal and told he that we were going to the Series. He nearly fell off his chair because, like me, he had never been to WS game. As you may remember, Game 6 turned out to be an awesome come-from-behind win for the Halos (remember when Dusty Baker handed the ball to Russ Ortiz after he replaced him, that is the game). Talk about spending QT with my Dad, who passed away late last year. That's why to me baseball in general is so cool and the postseason can be magical!

Awesome story Breeze.
I had my daughter in my arms when Hoffman took care of business last night and we cheered when we saw the cubs celebrate.
It's just that much more special when you are with a loved one. I was lucky to have both Adison and Dawn there.....
I just hope and pray we celebrate three more times!
