Down here when snow is FORCASTED....schools and businesses already close....and 90% of the time it misses us anyway.

But I guess its a good thing they are like that cause NO ONE can drive in anything but dry roads here.

i hear that wayne. hey you prolly remember this. blizzard of 93? one of the largest blizzards in the northeast. over 3feet of snow blanketed most of the northeast. storm struck on a sunday. state of emergency was in effect in ny sun-mon-tuesday. well my high school made national news that monday. colonie high. only school district in the region not to close. we were open yet it was illegal to drive in NYS unless it was an emergency. it was funny. lucky for me my parents let me stay home.

No we have an alloted amount of snow days....so they don't make it up.

We had schools closed but people were putting it in 4 wheel drive and joy riding! They didn't care.

I graduated with just under 400 people in my class. i think that monday less than 50 kids in my class showed up for school.
