Thanks Rook, but I think we will be ok. It's not like we lost Brady Quinn. No doubt he was going to be the starter, but Thompson is a better leader than Bomar is/was, and I want to see how Halzle will handle getting some snaps. The thing that hurts, is he was going to be the qb on campus for 2 more years after this season. OU hasn't been heavily recruiting qb's in the past couple years, so there isn't that much talent here in that regard. It definitely hurts, but I'm not ready to give up yet

I'm sitting here on the balcony of the 15th floor of a pretty nice hotel in Myrtle Beach,SC.

It is hot as FUCK out though...heat index supposed to be 115 degrees.

Nice...I hadn't read up on the backups...I just knew that was gonna be a hit to you all, and now you would THINK that defenses would put 8 in the box and make one of your two quarterbacks throw the ball.

Exactly. I don't think there's any doubt they will see 8 in the box, but with the athletes we have at reciever, surely the qb's can get the ball out there and let the recievers make plays on the man to man coverage. It's definitely going to be a challenge, but with the defense i'm expecting them to have, the d should definitely keep them in every ballgame. Like Kapt said yesterday, 10-2 or 11-1 is still possible with their schedule.
