I watched the whole thing. It was pretty cool.

I barely made it to the end! I started doing some pre-race drinking not knowing we were going to have a 3 hour delay and was about passed out before it was over. I would have been if not for my boy running up front!!

Restrictor plate racing is my favorite!! Tony Stewart had a dominating car from the get go though! I can't believe no one tried to get a run on him there at the end. I tend to think if McMurray wasn't in 2nd someone would have tried. With the luck McMurray has had at Daytona and Talladega he was happy to be where he was at and wasn't going to take any chances!

Since Tony had a good car, and talked about saving it just as it is till February, is that why he didn't spin out all over the track and grass when he won???

I don't know. The grass was soaking wet from all the rain they have been getting and he probably didn't want to get stuck out there and have to be pulled out by a wrecker. As far as not doing it on the track, I don't know. Maybe he saw Biffle a few weeks back during one of his victory burnouts when he spun the car around and smashed the back end of his car against the outside wall :D They will put a new engine in his car for the next race, so I assume he just didn't want to chance tearing up the body of it!

That and probably with the wet grass, he could have spun into the lake!!!

It was a good race. Wish Junior would have won it though. He needs a run of top 5's here.
