yep i know. Thats why my driver selection has been how its been thus far. I'm shocked that so many have already used gordon,biffle,johnson etc already.

I already know what "falling like a rock" is in Survivor ... Plus I used 2 "good" drivers.

It's because people (me included) don't want to fall far behind early. It's VERY hard to catch up and when your behind late in the season there is still no guarantee those good drivers will get a good finish. Mike650 from here won it last year and if you look at who he has already used, he is in GREAT SHAPE early. Right now he's in the cat bird seat IMO because when you use shit heads and get a solid finish, you have a leg up no matter what the others do. What he has done will pay big dividends later in the season.

i agree, but the guys i used IMO arent top 10 drivers @ all. I plan on using truex,yeley and such in the weeks to come. My goal isnt to win, its to finish ahead of the NECK kb....

Yup, I DO think Kyle Busch is a top 10 guy (imo) and i feel safe with the top 20-25 drivers. I feel comfortable using all of them. It's the 26-36 spots that scare the hell out of me!

but busch finished in 20th last year, i do look for him to improve and be in the top 10 this year. what are there 43 drivers and 36 events?? so 7 drivers you dont have to use. I'm just happy that in the 1st 2 races i had 2 top ten finishes, that works for me. and i didnt use any of the top 10 drivers

Yes Bry but this isn't like Hoops or foots where you can compare it to the previous season. Last years standings really mean absolutely nothing. If you went by that than Jeff Gordon isn't a Top 10 driver either and it was his 1st time ever out of the top 10. Coming into the season Kyle Busch is RIGHT there in or at the bottom of that top 10 list!

Jeremy Mayfield was a top 10 driver last year and everything went his way. I would be shocked if he finished in the top 10 once in the next 5 years. Right now he wouldn't be on my top 20 list and simply isn't a top 10 guy!
