Several people including KB were complaining about how slow it was and that it needed to be fixed. I explained what I was told by the maker of the software. Which was that the thread is too large and to close it down. The other suggestion was to move posts out of the original into a new thread. I did that and now KB still isn't satisfied.

how is that even possible monte? the thread is to large for the software? are you serious? if its a speed issue add some more RAM. doesnt make sense to me.

You would have to ask those questions to the software maker. All I can tell you is what they told me already.

And I have 2 servers already with each having 4MB of ram with SCSI drives so its not the servers. If it was the servers the hole site would run slow.

My two cents on the Urgent thread issue...
Can this slow thread...notice how all the chubbies want to keep this this thread open...This is how they roll...slow and slower.
If you really want to perserve "the bible" save it on to your computer...
I realize the history in this thread is rich, but the slowness is real show stopper IMO.
Besides if someone has time on their hands to read 3564 pages on a gambling advice site...you need to look into getting a new hobby...
C'mon Monte do the rigt thing and bury this thread...Kaz's idea seems like the best idea for now....
