St Andrew's course sets up great for tiger. The greens arent the most difficult. Getting to the green is the problem. Wind is a major factor, as well as the bunkers. Tiger can handle this rough. If tiger putts well he wins the open by 5 shots minimum, BANK ON IT!!!!
That was his biggest problem in the U.S. Open...If tiger is putting well he is gonna run away with this thing. Like bry said he can get on the green from almost anywhere so if he is hitting putts he will be tough to beat.
Yea, in the Open if Tiger putts poorly to average instead of horrendous he would have won by a couple of strokes imo.
I saw atleast 3 holes where he 1 putted. And anytime your 1 putting thats a good thing. He was in the fairway often too. IMO tiger's game comes down to putting. If he putts well he wins. Rough or fairway tiger can still put the ball on the green most times, unlike many pros.
