A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is Canadian. She asks her students to raise their hands if they were Canadian too.

Not really knowing why but wanting to be like their teacher, their hands explode into the air like flashy fireworks.

There is, however, one exception. A boy named Longnex has not gone along with the crowd.

The teacher asks him why he has decided to be different. "Because I am not Canadian."

"Then", asks the teacher, "what are you?"

"I’m a proud American," boasts the little boy.

The teacher is a little perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks Longnex why he is an American. "Well, my mom and dad are Americans, so I’m an American too."

The teacher is now angry. "That’s no reason," she says loudly. "What if your mom was a moron, and your dad was a moron. What would you be then?"

A pause, and a smile. "Then," says Longnex, "I’d be a Canadian."

This is what I mean...everytime I read these stupid things you paste in here all the time I already know the punch lines before I read them...

Just look on the bright side, you can get all of Spark's hand me downs. Walkers, ,canes, bibs, geritol, denture cleaner, etc, etc, plus you get a little sticker in your car that allows you to park close to the building you are going to
