That's right...and that's all we're doing is having that friendly arguement.
And the only problem I have with the loser of the SEC Championship especially if it's Arkansas is that how can you leave Notre Dame who has lost twice out of the BCS over Arkansas??
Didn't Arkansas lose to USC 50-14??? Seems to me Notre Dame played much better then Arkansas did.
THey beat a 6-6 Alabama by one point, beat Auburn which is impressive, tennessee which is impressive but then lost to LSU at home.
And you can't tell me that Arkansas or Wisconsin could bring more to the table both money, talent, fan, and rating wise then Notre Dame can.
Louisville deserves to be there and I hope they get there, but based on the agreements that all conferences made, and knowing that the BCS is looking for money, and ratings, If Notre Dame gets left out, it's a shame.
Can you imagine the money made for a top 16 playoff?
1 Ohio St vs 16 Tennessee
2 USC vs 15 W Virginia
3 Michigan vs 14 Va Tech
4 Florida vs 13 Rutgers
5 LSU vs 12 Oklahoma (Sorry KB, LSU wins easy)
6 Louisville vs 11 Auburn
7 Wisconsin vs 10 ND
8 Boise St vs 9 Arkansas.
Not bad for 1st round matchups.
And put the 1st round in home fields, and then go to the nuetral fields after that.
I think it sucks if they take #10 ND over #5 LSU for the Rose Bowl. It would be so much better if they would just have a playoff like every other sport.
I think Notre Dame plays in the Sugar Bowl vs Florida.

Do you deserve to go over Wiscky yes, but IMO not over Louisville or the loser of the SEC championship game.
I didnt agree to anything, when that agreement was made Louisville wasnt in the big east, even if they were no one asked me personally.
Will ND represent, prolly, will they bring tons of fans and money, definitley. Does money make it right. NO, thats my problem. ND got drubbed not once, but twice this season and still are in the top 10, thats not rightJohn and you know that. If that same scenario happen to Louisville they wouldnt be in the top 25.
Im not bashing your team, cause it is a good team, but they get to much bias and credit for there history.
And i expect you to defend your team, i would be in here doing the same thing, so defend away its what ate up CFB lovers like me and you do

Playoffs would end all of this shit, settle it on the field

I agree and that proves how big of a joke NCAA BSCS is. They give a BCS bowl game to a team because they will bring in $$$$ and fans instead of giving it to a team that deserves it although they might not be one of the most popular teams out there.
But it was the Big 12 conference that agreed to the whole thing along with the other major conferences!!!
Why do you think you don't hear the major conferences bitching about it? Because they know they have no arguement!
It's all the media that's blowing it out of proportion.
Just remember this though before you all start trashing Notre Dame for making it to the BCS
When the BCS proposed their deal to all the conferences as how they go about picking their teams one of the things that had to be agreed upon by EVERY MAJOR CONFERENCE was that if Notre Dame either A) had 9 wins or B) was in the top 8 in the BCS Standings that they were eligable for an at large bid.
EVERY SINGLE MAJOR CONFERNCE agreed to this.
So before you start...just remember...this is your own doing as well.
Do they deserve to go? Over who? A team like Wisconsin who is ranked ahead of them? yes, I do. They will bring more money, more fans and a better matchup then an I think a Wisconsin team would. And not to mention much better ratings.
Is it fair? Possibly not. We got smacked by 2 of the top 3 teams in the nation...but that doesn't mean we don't necessarily deserve to be put in a good bowl game.
Thank you, have a nice day.
