you can talk smack on it all you want, I know you're a closet reader over there in the neckcar forum
My family is into it big time, I can't although I have tried. My Uncle goes to about 5 - 10 races a year and my father goes with him for usually two. My uncle works for a building supply company and pushes certain product and receives these rediculous trips to these races. Whether it be Trek or Dewalt or Dupont. They go on Saturday's receive passes, hear speeches given by current and past drivers, receive all types of gifts, etc.. It is amazing. Last trip was given by Dupont, came home with signed scale cars, jackets, all kinds of stuff. Go down to the pits, sit in skyboxes, etc. It is really an amazing experience from what i have been told and all first class.
Bill, if you dont mind me asking what do you do for a living
Project Management, System Development and Process Engineer for a fortune 250 Credit Card company. I sit on conference calls all day, thus the reason I can hang with you animals. Right now listening to some auditor talking about Srbanes Oxley Rule 404 audit guidance. fucking boring

That is awesome! I have never done anything like that, but just going to a race is an all around awesome experience, especially if you get to go down to the pits and look around and see all the work and preparation that goes into making the race happen. What is your uncle's favorite track he has been to?

Damn, that does sound boring. But hey that job title sounds impressive as hell.
I'm not going to even bother asking what in the lords name a Srbanes Oxley Rule 404 is

Have no idea about it. I believe the last one they came back from (over a month ago) they were spewing about some 'bridge' that goes over the track that they had breakfast on Saturday morning and were given a speech from I think Dale Jarrett (I think) who owns a truck series team.
The favorite racer is Matt Kenseth. I think a while back he ran the Trek car and now Dewalt (?) so they have gone to see him numerous times. Supposedly he is a great guy.

Yeah, looking at this place while listening to that crap makes the days a little easier.
Sarbanes Oxley is an act that was put into place to insure proper audit and controls are put into place for large company's and holds executives responsible for those financial statements. Was enacted after Enron
Hey guys ... serious conversations not allowed in here ..
Thanks ... hahahahahaha
Ok Spark, sorry. Hey if one of my kids needs to do a report on Billy the Kid can they get a quote from you on what he was really like. You know sort of the "Stagecoach View with Spark"?
