Remember When you could buy a Four Finger full ounce bag
of Pot for only $10.00?
Then you could sit around and get Stoned while watching
The Three Stooges, If you got the "Munchies", you could
eat the Penny Candy that only cost a penny, and if you
got bored you could "Peel one Off!"
TOUCHDOWN FAT BOY!
I was Born my Pappy's Son,
When I hit the ground, I was on the Run! Jon E. Checkers

It sure is fun reading all of these.
Since I am an oldtimer comparatively speaking, here are a few of mine:
Gas at $.17 in the fifties.
A 6 ounce coke from a vending machine for $.05 and a 12 ounce for $.10.
Two burgers, fries and a Coke at McDonalds for under $1.00.
Packs of bubblegum with baseball cards inside for $.05.
The big celebration when the Dow Jones Industrial Average finally broke 1000.
My first automobile, a 1966 Plymouth Barracuda, which was really a souped up Valiant for $2800(the Valiant cost $2400).
Goint to the movies on a Saturday afternoon to see one movie, sometimes two and some cartoons also for around $.18-$.20.
Going to Fenway Park in the fifties when Sox were not good, walking up to ticket window for an afternoon game on the day of the game and buying a lower box ticket for around $5.00 or a lower reserved ticket for around $4.00.
There are many more, but those are a few which come to mind.
Now if you will excuse me, I have to sit in my massage chair to relieve this aching arthritis in my back-age does have its disadvantages.
