I actually watched a little of the race Vols, they had a mic on Jr and Johnson. Johnson said "Should we make our move?" Jr wanted to wait a little longer.......I think he waited too long

They were waiting on 10 laps to go but then a caution came out and by the time they got the track clean they only had 2 laps left. I was listening to him on the scanner all day and his spotter was saying to go backwards cause it's getting to wild. Fuck that. 88 and 48 were both pussies and deserved to finish 25th. They could go to the front anytime they wanted but drove like a bunch of girls.

So didn't he know that was gonna burn a bunch of laps on yellow and he needed to be closer to the front? I don't get it. I don't care either, just didn't make sense if he wanted to win.

My thought on that, It's better to have tried and lost, than not tried. It looked like the only thing they tried to do was keep out of the race.
