One time when my son was playing junior college baseball, I was at one of his games. He was a really good hitter but that day he couldn't hit a beach ball. I went down by the dugout in the middle of the game and asked one of the coaches if he needed me to pinch hit for the four-hole hitter. My son was pissed as hell. In retrospect it was pretty cold of me to do that. I think just drinking is a better solution, JC.
