Really? Maybe it was the Finals they lost? IDK kb but everyone was really disappointed when he left because he made his name on defense. And 1st team all defense the last 2 years kind of says a lot too doesn't it?
There's no doubt about it. But for him to take KD completely out of his game is ridiculous imo. Really pisses me off as a Thunder fan

Hell, I just looked at Tony Allen's stats against LeBron in 08' and he played a grand total of 12 minutes in the series with 4 DNP. LeBron might have struggled but it had nothing to do with Allen
That's because you are an OKC fan and probably didn't care as much when the Celtics were playing Lebron or Kobe. Now that it's against your guys, you notice it more.
Losing Allen when he left was considered a HUGE loss up here. He was missed a lot and it showed the very next season!
Hey, When you can shut down Lebron and Kobe, the 6 inches doesn't mean much to me. Those 2 have been unstoppable through their whole career too and Lebron is not a short guy either!
KD has about 6 inches on Allen and is supposedly the best scorer on the planet. I know Allen is a great defender, but to totally take the MVP out of the series in unfuckingacceptable to me.
Guys like gasol and Allen missed a ton of games this year too. That was just a horrible match up for round 1 because if healthy Memphis is much better than a 7 seed. Now they are playing and it is tough. As a 2 seed you expect someone a little easier.
Not in the West you don't imo. Everyone is tough as nails.

kb, I have always been a Tony Allen fan. When he was in Boston all they did was talk about how great he was on defense and he was. He was on the '08 title team and he was a key player. In every round they put him on the other teams scorer and he would just frustrate the hell out of them. He did to Lebron and Kobe in the finals. The guy is a defensive specialist. The guy was 1st team all defensive team in 2012 and 2013 and he was 2nd team all defensive team in 2011. Not trying to be a dick but it doesn't surprise me at all. And I don't blame Durant.
