Is there any way to erase what's on my zip drive and reformat it? I think it may be corrupt???

There's a little icon in your computer's system tray that you can click to get your memory stick ready to safely remove from the USB. Usually the stick has a little red light that goes off when it's safe to remove it from the computer. I have 3 or 4 memory sticks but I can't find any of them right now to try and find the little icon to describe it better. You did save your paper to your hard drive, right? You may just have to turn in your PC to your professor.

Yes. I just copied my paper and pasted into a new document. That seemed to work as I could now safely remove my device. Now, when I insert my memory stick back in, it is not showing my paper

So frustrating...

Man I'm tired and pissed off. My damn zip drive will not save my fucking paper for school. It is telling me "the generic volume can not be stopped at this time." If I take it out anyway, it won't fucking save.
